Another point I don’t see mentioned often is that we will likely never see gas below $3.25 ever again. The oil companies have never brought the prices down to where they were pre war anytime it’s happened. Which is why when they release quarterlies their execs need to be shamed.
Iran won this war. By closing the Strait of Hormuz, they forced Trump to capitulate without achieving any of his major war objectives.
I hope future presidents will study the lessons of this defeat. Too many people died, and too much money was spent for nothing.
