Look at this: @ConocoPhillips wants to do business with Al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda's central leadership in Afghanistan is getting a cut of oil profits from Syria under the new regime, yet apparently oil profits are more important than who gets paid along the way.
We spent trillions of dollars and lost thousands of lives fighting Al-Qaeda. Now some are willing to look the other way if there's money to be made. There should be no corporate immunity for helping enrich and resource the very terrorists we spent a generation trying to defeat.

Set a timer for 10 minutes.
That's it.
Try to knock out a few of these tasks:
✓ Charge your power banks.
✓ Update your emergency contacts.
✓ Take photos of any new insurance cards or documents.
✓ Confirm your family's meeting location if phones fail.
✓ Check the batteries in your flashlight.
✓ Make sure your vehicle has at least half a tank of gas.
✓ Review your evacuation route and an alternate route.
✓ Identify one neighbor you could help and one neighbor who could help you.
✓ Save an out-of-state contact who can serve as a family check-in point during an emergency.
✓ Make a list to restock any medications, pet supplies, or other essentials you rely on regularly.
Ten minutes today can save you hours of stress later. Preparedness isn't built in a day. It's built in small decisions made before they become urgent. The goal is never perfection. The goal is being a little more ready tomorrow than you were yesterday. Easy peasy!

Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw says a search warrant that led to the death of Const. Marc Pinizzotto was connected to an investigation into multiple shootings, including the March 2026 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Toronto.
Last month, the FBI arrested Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, who U.S. authorities have identified as a senior member of Kata'ib Hizballah and an operative of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to U.S. court documents, Al-Saadi claimed responsibility for multiple attacks in Canada, including the shooting at the U.S. Consulate in Toronto.
Toronto police are also searching for a second suspect, identified as 19-year-old Zara Jabbi.
