The Maroons Game 2 team is live now in the Ru Crew. Some forced changes for the Maroons obviously, but one fit player has been axed. A super star returns to the team! Billy has made some decisions that will have some big implications on SuperCoach over the next month too👀

Huge finish to that game from Kini. A scary 2025 heavily disrupted by injury and then a rough start to the season in 2026. Some very well deserved moments tonight for Kini. Broncos with a loss they desperately needed to avoid tonight. Are they playing finals footy in 2026?

Limited content over the next few days, Man Flu has knocked me over again. Death, taxes, KPP never fucking scoring and me being sick the week of Magic Round. Something Jordan like incoming for Magic Round. Bet against me, I dare ya. Sincerely, Rugby League Flu-ru

Loved the eyes up chip from Wakeham. Spoken about it before but I think it’d be unreal if on turnovers like this the attacking team was given a free play. You’d get some wildly exciting footy. If you don’t score, it comes back. Think the Super League have done it previously?

Despite the scoreline I thought there were positives to take away tonight for the Titans. Pascoe I’m a big fan of, good call to have him at 9. Didn’t set the world alight but you can see the raw ability of Zane Harrison. Hopefully we’re looking at the GC’s future spine here.

Enormous win from the Wahs, huge bounce back. Absolutely bullied Melbourne tonight in their own backyard. The Storm used to beat teams before they got off the bus. The big question for me is, have Melbourne lost their intimidation factor?

Really impressed with Tom Duffy tonight in a loss, his and Dearden’s careers are a bit mirrored at the moment. Came in a little too early, struggled and made a move to another QLD club. I think the Duffy signing could become an important one in Brissy over the next few years.

So who wins the comp in 2027? I was asked this week which of the Panthers teams over the last few years was the best? its wild to even consider that they’ve won 4 comps in a row and we might be looking at their best team yet here? Privilege to watch this side.

What a knock from the Newcastle Knights. Missing some of their best players and losing Dyl Lucas for 10 minutes. Enormous performance. Saifiti led from the front, Sandon was unreal too. Dom Young having a great season. Second game that they don’t win without Harrison Graham.

Warriors looking sensational to kick off 2026. Ford killing it through the middle, he’ll lead the Dally M’s again this week. Tanah Boyd has been the best watch for me though, as it stand right now what do you think the Wahs will do positionally when Metcalf returns?

The Panthers have played the Defending Premiers in the Broncos, the Sharkies who are a consistent top 4 team and the Roosters who many tipped for big things this year. The score after those 3 games is 92-10. Remember when Ivan laughed and said the Dynasty wasn’t over?

Devastating day injury wise for the Knights but what a victory. The young guys that stepped up today in Harrison Graham and Fletcher Hunt have been enormous. The Knights faithful should be very proud of this side. Manly looking like a tyre fire, pressure building on Seibold.

Sua Fa’alogo is taking the Les Kiss tonight. He looks incredible to kick off season 2026. The Melbourne Storm production line of fullbacks continues to produce superstars.

Blore injured in the first hit up of his NSW Cup return. Didn’t look very good tbh, in plenty of pain and taken straight off the field. So shit to see.

Incredible scenes at the SFS, well handled by all involved. Gold jersey an unreal touch. What a moment for AJ, one of the great genuine guys in our game. A brilliant role model in our game, his name will be forever etched in Rugby League history.

Jackson Ford has hit the ground running in 2026 in a big way. Scored the try tonight to seal it for the Wahs, but his tackle on Mariota after a set restart that forced a turnover was the moment of the game for me. That one broke the Raiders hearts and ended them tonight.

Hard to go past Pezet tonight as best on ground, he was tremendous. Iongi wasn’t far behind tonight though, I love watching him play. In a golden era of fullbacks I don’t think he’s considered to be in the top tier just yet, but it isn’t far away. Outstanding young player.

Don’t worry about ya chicken and corn being blocked when Reece Walsh is chipping and chasing early in the set. Horny stuff.
