Our study ja.ma/40IofZe found a ⬆️risk of thyroid cancer diagnosis within the 1 year of GLP-1RA initiation. But here's the catch—patients on GLPs had more thyroid ultrasounds. This suggests the link is due to increased detection rather than the drug causing new cancer🧵
