#Alastor believed he and #Vox were playing a violent but bounded game. Vox eventually proved it was never a game to begin with. (VERY long🧵)

Not because he stopped wanting the game, but because reacting gives the situation motion again. It gives Vox access again. But secretly, he would still want to play. He just cannot play with Vox anymore, because Vox broke the board.

So A’s silence would not be indifference. It would be control. But even so, V is irreplaceable to A, because it was never truly a game to either of them. It was just the only way they knew how to connect. And now, they don'teven have that. So I'm excited for their dynamic in s3.
