Following the mountain training in Scotland, members of the RMR joined the Dutch Marines who were on the course for an ascent of Ben Nevis. During this ascent they came across a climber in distress.

Royal Marines Reserve Tyne Detachment paraded through Newcastle to honour the fallen.
After a service & wreath laying at the Cenotaph, the day ended at HMS Calliope with a toast to the King and those who gave their all.
Proud to remember together.
