The 2nd Type 31 warship HMS Active made her public debut as she was rolled out of the Venturer Hall at @Babcockplc Rosyth facility, while the first steel was cut for ship 4, HMS Bulldog.

The @RoyalNavy is working with @BritishArmy engineers, using agile ways of working to build workshops for key maintenance at @HMNBClyde.
Yesterday I visited @HMNBClyde with @ChiefDefNuclear to see progress in action to deliver the Submarine Maintenance Recovery plan.
The nuclear deterrent is my number one priority and that is a whole force effort.
The Type 31 frigates built by @Babcockplc show where the @RoyalNavy is heading: a hybrid navy, with capable crewed platforms at the core, integrating new technologies to deliver success through Atlantic bastion.
Last year, during an operational deployment of the Continuous At Sea Deterrent (CASD), the crew of HMS Vengeance raised a remarkable £4,880 for @submarinefamily@EndometriosisUK and the Onboard Welfare Fund 🎉👏
