#Marathon is ok the sad part is it could have been something special if they just remade the original game from 1994. It could have been THE Halo Killer, THE Return to form of a beloved game studio. But the higher ups wanted an Extraction Shooter.

This means Microsoft will rush out Halo 2 remake in 7 months and Halo 3 remake on the originals 20th anniversery by reusing assets and Using AI to make things faster.

I'm sorry for posting so much about Halo it's a series I'm very passionate about and I hate seeing it mistreated by microsoft and people praising them for it after the game comes out I'll probably never talk about it again.

Also fun fact for people who like sprint in halo the sprinting speed in halo reach, 4 and infinite is the walking speed in halo ce, 2 and 3. So sprint does not speed up the game it slows it down.

this is the same experience you'll have playing Campaign Evolved the difference is this was lovingly remade by a fan in Infinite's forge while Campaign Evolved is a soulless cash grab that could've been DLC.

The sad thing is that making a good Halo game is so damn easy the devs just purposely keep making unecessary Change's that add nothing and make the games feel worse then the originals if I had the money and a dev team we'd just make a good Halo game ourselves and It's outsell 343

there is no good reason why Campaign Evolved couldn't have been DLC for Halo Infinite other than Microslop wanting to use Unreal Engine 5 so they don't have to hire people.

Here's why people are mad about the DLC skins. 1 people are sick of immersion breaking Fortnite style skins. 2 there are much better options that wouldn't look out of place (see picture below). 3 instead of using the budget to replace the Halo Infinite models they made these.
