The argument seems to be, "food is expensive, but I refuse to make adjustments and I will continue to buy expensive food"

Couple things can be true.. 1. Prices these days suck and wage growth isn’t keeping up. 2. Living frugally while you’re in the trenches isn’t a human rights violation. 3. Most of the people suggesting cheaper options have literally been there, including myself.

I really had no idea there would be this level of hate, anger and just absolute psychosis over suggesting frugality.
