the most valuable part of cardano really was/is the people. the tech is dogshit and going nowhere, fast.
see that many of you publicly sharing your lost time (~5 years of career growth).
my suggestion would be to try to connect with other people who are also in your situation who are worth a damn and try to build something together outside of cardano.
you probably know who the people you'd like to work with are.

@IOHK_Charles and @phillip_pon are working on a new Cardano Discord server.
The goal is to create a space focused on productive discussions, collaboration, and ecosystem progress, with an emphasis on meaningful engagement and building.
According to Charles, the vision is to foster an environment where "real conversations" can happen as Cardano moves toward its next chapter.

I've been reading through the Cardano ICO documents and I have a simple question:
Cardano raised 108,844 BTC.
The Cardano Foundation appears to have received only ~8,258 BTC.
Meanwhile, EMURGO and IOHK received billions of ADA, while the Foundation received substantially less.
So:
Why did EMURGO and IOHK receive ~2 billion ADA each while the Foundation received ~650 million ADA?
Who controlled the ~100,000 BTC raised in the ICO?
Where did those BTC ultimately go?
Is there a full accounting of treasury movements from ICO to today?
Not accusing anyone of anything. I'm genuinely interested in the financial history here because it's one of the largest and most fascinating ICOs ever conducted.
Where is the 108,844 BTC audit trail?
