【ぼくのかんがえたさいきょうのドブケラドプス】 『初代ウルトラマン』第15話で、子供が土管に描いた落書きが実体化して怪獣になる『二次元怪獣ガヴァドン』のエピソードを憶えてます？ 怪獣の絵ばかり描いていた怪獣フリークな子どもたちにとっては、自分が描いた怪獣が、そのまま動き出すという、本当に胸熱で夢のようなお話でしたね。 ガヴァドンを見て感動した私は、誰もいなくなった薄暗い公園に行き、こっそり土管にクレヨンで怪獣を描いたのを覚えています。 そして後年、『キン肉マン』ではキャラクターの一般公募が行われ、視聴者が考えた作品が世の中の多くの人の目に触れるという、これまた夢のような企画が生まれました。 そんな企画と比べるのは、ちょっと烏滸がましいのですが、そんな胸熱を自分でも味わえたのが、学生の頃に考えたボスを、ゲーム会社に入社して実装することができたドブケラドプスなんです。 ロケテストでこのボスを相手に次々と圧死する皆さんを見て、とても楽しかったです。 とはいえ、こなれてしまうとフォースや波動砲で瞬殺されてしまう、ちょっと可哀想なボスでしたね。 このイラストは、2021年に(株)シティコネクションさんの『R-TYPEオリジナルサウンドBOX』のパッケージ用に描かせてもらったドブケラドプスです。 #ガヴァドン #R・TYPE #ドブケラドプス

City Connection announces the release of the downloadable software ‘R-TYPE DX: Music Encore’ for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Steam as the fifth installment in the Memory Clip series in Winter 2025. This title is a port of the 1999 handheld shooter ‘R-TYPE DX’ for current-generation systems. ‘R-TYPE DX’ features the series' origins, ‘R-TYPE’ and ‘R-TYPE II’, plus the special “Ultimate Challenge” mode allowing consecutive playthroughs of both games. For this release of ‘R-TYPE DX: Music Encore’, we've implemented the first-ever full soundtrack for the “Ultimate Challenge” mode. We've added dedicated tracks, faithful to the arcade version, to scenes in the original ‘R-TYPE DX’ that previously used shared music.
