We made a trip to Atlanta, Georgia to talk to young AAPI folks, and asked if they give a f*ck about midterms.
TL;DR: We have a lot of work to do between now and then.
Are you gonna give a f*ck about the midterms? #GiveaFxckAboutMidterms
Thank you everyone who joined us at our second annual AANHPI Women’s Celebration at the Kennedy Center. It was a night of community, entertainment, and powerful personal stories and experiences🖤 #AANHPIHeritageMonth
youth voters and youth turnout are key in shaping our political future -- we need to continue to inspire and mobilize young people to further our collective impact
"We need to recognize the impact the Asian American vote can make on the future of our democracy, and it’s just as important that we recognize the need to disaggregate youth voters and how we mobilize them." -@l4nguyen of @RUNAAPIdemocracydocket.com/opinion/…
This midterm election cycle, @RUNAAPI is doing something a little different. It's partnering with Arizona artist @safwat to create a rather untraditional political mailer campaign.
@laurengilger spoke with the group's @l4nguyen to learn why.

hear from @l4nguyen to learn more about what we've been up to this election cycle-- it's so important for us to stay engaged and reach voters and our community where they're at.
The Harvard Youth Poll found that 42% of youth aged 18-29 don't believe their vote will make a difference. We need to rethink how we engage our communities leading into this election to not only GOTV, but to create change through civic engagement. Are y'all with us?
What @l4nguyen is saying is that it's not JUST about the vote -- continued advocacy and engagement with the wants of our community is key. We see so many people disheartened (especially with Roe decision) b/c we voted many of those in power and yet it was never codified.
Speaking as an AAPI woman: THANK YOU for saying this. @RUNAAPI says they're serious about *increasing* AAPI electoral power by getting out the youth vote! How do they explain their spokeswoman actively working to DIS-empower young AAPI voters?
