Residents and park users report on going tree work next to the river. Woodland can benefit from active management, inc felling, but Lewisham have been asked to confirm that all is OK. @AndreMBourne

Farnaby Road is SHUT between Bromley Av and Rav Av. Bromley Av and Warren Avenue junctions with Farnaby Road are SHUT. Applies 8-5pm. Traffic lights outside these times. But despite signs drivers keep trying - and then doing a U turn. @GemmaJTurrell @CCARA_Beckenham

And in a similar vein to our last post, at 54 London Road (the new @coopuk , corner Farwig Lane), two new trees have died and, per Condition, they must be replaced. We have asked Co-Op to do so - healthy trees in this location will make a big difference.

37 London Road (Corner of Blyth Road). When the large building was erected, the developer ignored the Condition to plant a tree. We insisted that he did so and the Council forced him to plant a tree. Today, the tree is magnificent, bringing many benefits to this corner. 1/2

This is a great example on why RVR insists that developers fulfill any and all planning conditions, especially when they include planting of trees.

Planners, developers and architects! Please note and build accordingly! @bo66ie29
Which house would you prefer to live in, and why? What is it, in very plain and specific language, that makes you prefer one of them to the other?

101 Farnaby Road Another retrospective application REFUSED. It is the utmost good sense to check you don't need (or have already) planning permission before you build anything!! (including decking 31cm high and a fence 1.01m high) planningaccess.bromley.gov.u…
