Okay Orioles fans. If the tide is finally turning away from Mike and Sig, letโs hear some names to replace them. Pie in the sky is okay, but realistic or at least plausible candidates are preferred.
Fwiw, Grok recommended a couple of interesting names - Matt Forman with Cleveland, and Amiel Sawdaye of Arizona. Of course, it also brought up Chaim Bloom and Gabe Kapler.

Happy Motherโs Day
This makes 26 of these without my mom. My friends always said she had the nicest telephone voice. I saw her make chicken salad out of chicken โฆ feathers so many times, raising three kids by herself. Three really grateful kids who miss her every day.

Laura, btw, was born on the day after Motherโs Day. Which pissed her mother off. Every year that I knew her, and who knows how long before that, she would joke/complain how she was gypped out of a present and a brunch.
