Went to see The Importance of Being Earnest tonight by the State Theatre Company of South Australia. It was a magnificent rendition of the book/play by Oscar Wilde. Excellent performances by all.
10/10 would recommend! 😁

My poor boy Roger is back in hospital and will be having a second bladder flush due to being blocked by struvite crystals. He’s currently off his head on methadone, so hopefully he’s not in any pain (the only thing in pain will be my bank account ! 😭)

Okey dokey fancy people. We have solar panels but not a battery but hubby has suggested getting a battery to then get an EV later. We are in Adelaide. Any suggestions for companies to go with (or NOT go with!) ? Any info gratefully appreciated.

60 years ago today my mum and dad married in Manchester, England. They honeymooned in France, sometimes staying in a tent! 😳Mum then came back to Australia with dad. They made it to their 58th anniversary. 💕

I have a six monthly blood glucose test at the crack of dawn tomorrow (9:40am) for my diabetes. Will get the results on Friday.
My dad used to like to try and “fix” the results by not eating certain things for the week before. Sanity had never run in my family. 😳🤪

Went to see @THEBETHS at The Gov last night. Absolutely fabulous show for the start of their AU tour. They’re off to Perth next then the Eastern States.
Five stars, would recommend! 😄

The blood lilies that I replanted from my parents’ house last year have survived! Woo hoo! We sold the family home and I wanted to take some of dad’s plants to my house. ♥️❤️♥️ @bob_dambergs

Thankfully he’s not blocked so we just need to restart his daily anti inflammatory and pain meds and see how he goes. 🤞(NB: the white marks on the timber are not dirt. They are paint, someone yrs ago thought it’d be great to paint walls without a drop cloth.😫)

Poor Roger is not feeling well again and has blood in his pee. So back to the emergency vet we go. 😭

I was living in the UK in 2002 when two little girls went missing, later found to be murdered by Ian Huntley who was given an alibi by his girlfriend Maxine Carr. Today Huntley died after being attacked in goal. I will not grieve his loss at all. RIP Holly and Jessica 💔

You won’t believe it but we won the major prize in the pub meat raffle AGAIN. We buy $10 of tickets each week as they are fund raising for bowl cancer research. We’ve won two major meat trays, one minor meat tray, 2 bottles of bubbles and 2 six packs of beer THIS YEAR. Crazy. 🥳

Roger is home after having his bladder flushed and three days in hospital. He pulled his catheter out while he was there while he had his Cone Of Shame on ! He’s a skilled lad. He’s feeling a bit sorry for himself but is hopefully on the mend. ❤️🩹

Poor Roger is a bit under the weather and is now in hospital awaiting a procedure to flush his bladder (struvite crystals are blocking his urethra). He’s not a happy chappy but is in the best place to get better. 💕

Watching 12 Angry Men at the mo. Love that old movie. Saw it a few years ago on stage where it was all comedians having to do straight face roles - so good.

I can’t believe it. I thought I had got through #Whamageddon (despite my daughter threatening to play it) but I went to my neighbours house for our annual Christmas Eve drinks and I AM OUT. 😭@merkin_about Plus I had to listen to #Mariahgeddon THREE times. 😫
