This time last year we started the planning for climbwithcharlie on April 2nd it turned out to be am amazing day. But today my health is unfortunately in a much worse situation my motor neurone is moving to my limbs. But I am not giving up the fight. Thanks for your kindness

It is with deep sadness that we learnt of the death of Playwright, Patricia Burke Brogan. The poet, novelist, teacher and painter, has died aged 90. She was among the first people to draw large-scale attention to the shameful, brutal reality of the Magdalene laundries.

It’s a devastation. Where is the science that says it is safe to gather in a church, or go to a cinema - but not to a theatre?
