🗣️: "I think that wreck was caused because of the nature of this car."
William Byron believes Christopher Bell's wreck at Michigan was a byproduct of the NextGen car and its qualities, and adds that a wreck of that style wouldn't have happened with Gen6.
#NASCAR
A terrific battle for the lead in the July 1990 Pocono race
Rusty Wallace led in turn one, Davey Allison led in turn two, Geoff Bodine led in turn three
Bingo another thing @NASCAR did was not listen to the drivers and fans… look where we are at now.
The stage breaks have not helped grow the sport or helped the race.
All it did was put a band aid on the car/package. Fix the issue don’t put a band aid on it @NASCAR.

NASCAR industry members, drivers, media:
“We race too much, we deserve a week off”
“We race too long, shorten the races”
“I’m so glad we only practice once now. I hated giving fans more track time”
NASCAR fans:
NASCAR (and NASCAR people) need to stop bending over backwards to put the wills and whims of non-fans and fickle casuals over the paying die hard. The sport will never grow if all it tries to be is "less of an inconvenience for people"
Stages are NOT needed for TV.
F1 and IndyCar don’t schedule cautions for TV and take away the leaders advantage.
Stage racing is a gimmick designed to manufacture entertainment and it needs to be abolished.
Give Dover back its points race.
Put the All-Star at Charlotte.
Simplify the format.
Wait... do we even need a fan vote?
This is @DaleJr's ideal All-Star format.
This type of attitude from leadership and media is how we have gotten to where we are today. Absolute disdain for the people paying the bills.
No, a studio broadcast is not the biggest problem in the world, but it is certainly noticeable. It feels half ass and lazy.
Add this to our conversation on TMD this morning about a subset of fans that literally find something to complain about on a weekly basis - I’m well aware there are certainly things in the sport that aren’t perfect and should be made better - but it’s become exhausting
