Majora's Mask really encapsulates to me what society would be like in the final days, or these cases moments before death.
Fearing for their lives, feeling confused, bound by their moral duties, refusing to believe what is in front of them or even just accepting that this is it
One of the coolest things about the Earthbound Beginnings Snes remake is the players guide. They did not have to put this much effort into something so supplementary like this but they did anyway. Big ups on the devs
i find it hilarious how half the replies/quotes to this are people talking about how it scared them as a child while the other half are saying she's hot
i like the narrative of "guys, eveeyone would be super hyped for the ocarina remake if it wasn't leaked!" because it implies everyone is tuned into leaks & also that any of them actually gave proper spoilers and weren't just "oot remake" scratched into toilet paper in the corner
my dark horse evil gaming take is that people have really closed minds on controls and control schemes in the modern day. controller standardization and very established tropes for every genre have led us to just instantly mock anything unusual.

Paper Mario (2000)
I definitely feel a good bit of "sequel envy" playing this, generally the ideas here just aren't explored to their best extent, but on its own? Cute & fun game! Cozy, funny dialog, simple and fun combat, I had a quite good time.
Light clouds.
Among Us (2026)
Genuinely the best adaptation Among Us could've gotten. Funny, well-animated, surprisingly good drama, this kinda rocked. I like it more than the game and it's the best video game adaptation I've watched. Not extremely high bars but they're bars!
Clouds!
Me when the Pikmin 2 hater asks if I still think that's good level design after my 4 year old son got flattened by a large boulder on the mountainous hike we were taking
