TEXAS SENATE RACE: Democrat super lawyer Dan Cogdell, who endorsed Talarico for Senate, admitted on video (2024) the impeachment & securities prosecution against Ken Paxton were all politically motivated to drive him from the AG's office. He was 1 of 20 lawyers defending Paxton. A Democrat telling the truth... h/t @txind1836

One my top vacation moments ever was finding this note in my hotel room:

Hey @FoxNews: In Texas, murder is defined as intentionally or knowingly causing the death of an individual, intending to cause serious bodily injury and committing an act that results in death, or causing a death while committing or attempting to commit another felony.

This is the moment a customer busted two @Shell workers running the screw scam to charge gas to other customers. He told them straight: take the screws out or I’m ruining your entire company. I’m so sick of people coming to America just to scam hard-working citizens. Deport every single one running these street-level cons.

Last night, I read the entirety of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. It's a novel told in the form of letters written by a demon to another demon instructing him on ways to manipulate his "patient" to do evil. This one quote sounded familiar.

Funny how same-day election results by 8:53 p.m. are possible when it’s 2021 and the whole state is voting on whether to recall Gavin Newsom.

🚨🚨🚨MY NEW FAVORITE COVID CONSPIRACY THEORY 🚨🚨🚨
THEO VON: “Was there anybody who was immune to COVID-19?” DR. MCCULLOUGH: “There’s one adult group. You’re going to laugh.” [Theo Von listens closely for the reveal] DR. MCCULLOUGH: “Smokers… They got very mild cases. And they don’t get long COVID.” THEO VON: “Why?” MCCULLOUGH: “Because smokers maintain a level of nicotine in the bloodstream… Smoking blocks the spike protein. It’s amazing. I thought smokers were going to go down.” THEO VON: “Do you think that’s a good idea [to use nicotine patches] on a regular basis?” DR. MCCULLOUGH: “I think [it’s a good idea] if they have long COVID... Nicotine, don’t forget, is a nootropic. A nootropic is a drug that makes the brain function more effectively... It’s addictive, but it’s not harmful to the human body... Nicotine patches are perfectly safe.”

Hopefully @jamestalarico will be the last attempt by the racist @DNC to use identity politics to grab a senate seat. Texans aren’t stupid or racist. We care about the actual political views of our candidates.

If your pastor acts like this, be wary of everything he says and find a new church. It’s not surprising @kevinmyoung supports Talarico.

🚨 The FAKE narrative about Ken Paxton and the Adam Hoffman case is pure election-year smear material: • The case went to a FULL TRIAL → resulting in a hung jury (7–5 leaning toward guilty). • The child victim refused to testify again - the parents prioritized his mental health. • After the local DA recused himself, Paxton’s office negotiated a plea agreement to misdemeanors. • The JUDGE rejected the initial terms and imposed 60 days in jail. Hoffman ultimately served approximately 29–30 days with good time credit. Paxton did not “personally” cut some secret sweetheart deal. Prosecutors were forced to make a difficult call in a case involving a reluctant victim. No s*x offender registry requirement was imposed, but jail time was still served. Stop twisting victim-centered prosecutorial decisions into conspiracy theories. Focus on facts, not attack ads from John Cornyn allies and James Talarico talking points. James Talarico supports the abuse of children. I have personally been present during committee hearings where he argued in favor of p0rn in front of children under the guise of “the first amendment”. He also supported the mutilation (transition) of children. Talarico would be devastating for Texas. Paxton has filed more lawsuits aimed at protecting children than almost any attorney general in the country. There is no comparison.

The real story of Paxton’s senate trial: The House had impeached based solely on the recommendation of a committee stacked with the disgraced Speakers’ allies, and without hearing testimony or taking evidence. A majority of senators rejected a motion to dismiss that they could have easily granted if they were trying to “save” him. Then they proceeded to a trial where the evidentiary basis for the charges was found to be so weak, some of Paxton’s fiercest opponents even voted to acquit.

Ken Paxton is being slandered as pedophile protector based on lies started by the Cornyn campaign. Talarico and Dems are now repeating the lies every chance they get. Learn the truth: The trail ended in a hung jury. The prosecution sought a second trial but the child victim refused to testify again. Prosecutors negotiated a misdemeanor plea instead of the perp getting a full acquittal. Paxton, himself, had zero to do with it.

Since I’m going to be hearing this for the next 6 months as a Texas voter, let me answer the question: “You would vote for an adulterer over James Talarico? That’s not very Christian.” Here’s the truth: I would rather vote for almost anyone else who is going to at least advocate for conservative *policies* over a literal heretic who wears my faith like a skin suit, advocates for policies that harm children, endorses immorality and generally harm society. Ken Paxton has personal baggage. I don’t deny that. But Talarico has plenty too — and he openly mocks God’s law and treats Jesus as a political mascot all while pushing a radical far-left agenda that would be a disaster for my state. You see, I’m an adult. I do not expect those who are seeking political office to be my moral superiors or even trustworthy. They are tools to be used to do the least amount of damage via policy. I wish more pastors and men who live godly lives were running. I really do. But the options we get are what they are. Paxton supports secure borders, law enforcement, lower taxes, unleashing American energy, the Second Amendment, just to name a few. Talarico supports unlimited abortion, trans-ing children, higher taxes, government-run “healthcare,” and is incredibly comfortable blaspheming the word of God. I’m not voting for a priest. I’m voting for an imperfect person to represent my interests. That’s how it works. You’re not going to guilt trip Texans into supporting a looney tunes candidate like Talarico. Paxton will win by 5 . It’s about policy, not personality.
