Pump.fun activity is down 80% in three months while Solana fees are down 84% since January.
At the same time capital is rotating to perps on Hyperliquid. The knee jerk reaction is that "Solana is in trouble," but the structural view is that speculation is leaving and serious finance is arriving.
The question is whether the infrastructure is ready for what comes next and that is why we are so focused on this.

Iran 2-2 New Zealand. New Zealand led twice, Iran equalised twice. Eli Just opened the scoring inside seven minutes and looked like a debutant who'd back himself in any auction. xG had Iran as comfortable favourites. The actual scoreboard had something else in mind. As clean an illustration as you'll get this week of why expected outcomes and guaranteed outcomes aren't the same thing.
Spain 0-0 Cape Verde. 90 minutes of Spanish set pieces and counter-attacks against a Cape Verde defensive shape that didn't crack. The mempool was full of Spanish possession but the block didn't close with a goal. The kind of stalemate that should make any market maker quoting Spain at short odds rethink their model.
Saudi Arabia 1-1 Uruguay. Balanced execution from both sides. Two reserved slots filled, two probabilistic chances missed. The kind of match a market maker would have quoted both sides tight on and walked away even.
Belgium 1-1 Egypt. Lukaku gave Belgium the lead but Egypt found their own slot in time to settle level. Both sides got their transaction landed but neither got the outcome they really wanted. A reminder that landing a transaction and winning a trade aren't the same problem.

For years, staking yield was basically just inflation. But inflation keeps dropping, 8% at launch, ~4% now, 1.5% eventually.
The yield replacing it comes from network activity: priority fees and MEV.
