rkuSOL is the only LST on Solana with blockspace auction revenue.
For years, staking yield was basically just inflation. But inflation keeps dropping, 8% at launch, ~4% now, 1.5% eventually.
The yield replacing it comes from network activity: priority fees and MEV.
Capturing those streams is the whole reason LSTs exist, they route your stake to validators set up to actually collect and share them.
rkuSOL captures all of that, plus blockspace: people pay to reserve it before the block exists, and that goes to holders.

Letβs jump back to October 2025 for a second, a settled but slightly cloudy day, when the market saw its largest single-day liquidation event on record.
Around $19.5B got wiped in 24 hours, and the load that hit Solana that day ran at roughly 6x its normal peak traffic. The network just held though, with fees mostly staying under a cent and block times sitting near 400ms throughout, and that kind of stability under that kind of stress doesn't without a lot of work.
There's actually quite a lot to unpack about why. π

What that whole day really showed, looking back at it eight months on, is that Solana has properly moved past the era of asking whether it can stay online when things get hard.
The engineering had been done first, so when the stress came the network just did its job. What's coming next builds straight on that foundation, with SIMD-0286 taking block size to 100M CUs and Alpenglow bringing finality down to around 150ms later in the year.
