This is why we’re building Rally. For so long, Africans have suffered inside systems that were never designed for them. We adapted. We learned the rules. We played along. And still, the system keeps changing the goalpost. Banks that freeze funds without explanation. Currencies that lose value while you’re asleep. Transfers that fail but never reverse. Fees that appear after the transaction is done. Somehow, this has been normalized. When Africans struggle financially, the blame is placed on financial literacy. But you can understand money perfectly and still be trapped in a broken system. That’s why we're building Rally Not to teach Africans how to manage scarcity better, but to build rails that don’t create scarcity in the first place. We’re building Rally because earning globally should not mean cashing out in fear. Because moving money within Africa should not feel like gambling. Because people shouldn’t have to rely on unsafe P2P markets just to access their own money. Rally is not about hype. It’s about replacing unreliable systems with ones that actually work for African realities. This is not a quick fix. This is a long build, and it starts by refusing to accept that this is just how it works.

African entrepreneurs have some of the boldest crypto ideas out there. Skill has never been the problem. Access to funding is. At Rally, we believe in backing homegrown ideas -Africans supporting Africans. The question is… will you be ready?

Let’s talk about Nigerian banking customer care. You get debited for no reason after a transaction. So you head to Twitter to complain. All you get is an automated reply telling you to check your DMs. A DM that never comes. It’s 2026, and we still have to go through this stress just to access our OWN money? No wonder people are losing trust in web2 banking systems. Have you ever had to wait on customer support just to get your money back?

6 days waiting for a reversal that should've been instant. People aren't leaving traditional banking because of fees. They're leaving because their OWN money feels slow. Uncertain. Out of their control. And Rally keeps saying this. It's 2026 and transactions shouldn't feel like a gamble. Know what happens to your money.

Please do not make us begin to loose faith in your services. i attempted to make a withdrawal on the 1st of April at an ATM terminal (first bank ATM). the ATM displayed "Temporarily unable to dispense cash". but i was debited and a reversal has not been intiated uptill now.

This is not even funny anymore. Imagine spending years stacking up a skill. Putting in the hours, making the sacrifices, finally getting to the point where you can earn from it - and then boom. Light fails you. Not because you're not qualified. Not because the opportunity wasn't there. Just light. Just NEPA doing what NEPA does. And we haven't even started talking about the payment systems. We've been saying this for years. The frustration isn't new. The conversation isn't new. But somehow, the problems aren't new either. Hear me! If you're a fellow Nigerian, the time for waiting is over. Nobody is coming to save us -not the government, not the grid, not the system. We have to rise and start building things for ourselves. Our own solutions. Our own infrastructure. Our own way forward. The skill is yours. Don't let the circumstances keep collecting the reward for it.
Nigeria keeps happening to people, when will this end?💔 I had to reschedule an interview with a candidate today and I understood that it wasn’t his fault. For few weeks now, they’ve not had light, if at all it comes on, it lasts for 30 mins, he said he usually charges at his neighbor’s place but the man did not put on his generator today. He has also lost an opportunity previously because of this. What is going on? It’s never been this bad, People keep losing opportunities, if it’s not light issue, it’s network issue 🤦

Rally is more than just a fintech app. We proved that when we launched our storytelling campaign last year. Rally is built by people who've been there. People who experienced the broken system firsthand and got fed up with it. >Funds frozen without explanations. >Transfers that fail but never reverse. >Fees that appear after the transaction is done. Somehow, we've all been conditioned to accept this as NORMAL. It's NOT. That's why we're building Rally - to fix what's been broken for far too long. Are you with us?

Comment of the week: Yesterday,@Davycrypt_ asked: "How do everyday merchants actually embrace Rally? Here's the thing. Adoption doesn't start online. It starts on the ground. Rally is bringing crypto education to the ordinary Nigerian. from the 15 year old just curious about money, to the grandma who thought crypto was complex. No technical explanations. The next wave of Rally ambassadors won't just be online voices. They'll be in markets. In communities. Where trust is built. Question is: >Will you be part of the movement in your communities? 👇 Tag two people you'd want to be part of this.

Have you ever waited 72 hours just to access YOUR own bank account? Yes - 24… 48… 72 hours. Your life literally hits pause. >You can't pay your medical bills. >Your mental health is at risk. >You're borrowing from friends just to get by. No explanation. Nothing. We've been there - and we've seen enough. At Rally, we decided to change the narrative. Why don't we send, receive and access money anytime? Like, that was what money was created for. Quick one: Are you ready to rally with RALLY?

2026 and your money still feels like a gamble? Your own money gets locked up for 72 hours. You beg customer care like you did something wrong. And at the end - no tangible explanation. Just "please wait." We've been saying this from the start. Money was supposed to bring freedom - not the other way around. That's why Rally exists. Your money. Your access. No 72 hour wait !

Nigerians are stronger than Jeff Bezos. >Fuel prices increase every “Eke” market day. >NEPA doesn't regard the “let there be light” command. >Traditional banks switch on you when you need them the most. And you still decide to beat the odds regardless! Now, come closer and tell us. Why do you keep showing up?

GM GM CTNG. It's Friday and about 2 weeks left to finish March. Go out, touch some grass, and get prepared for the week ahead. Web3 shouldn’t take you completely away from the real world. What are you doing this weekend?

African freelancers are not lazy. In fact, they’re some of the most hardworking remote workers out there. They put in 101% effort just to deliver great results for clients. But when it’s time to get paid, they regret they quit their 9-5. It's either the employer complains about the payment method, or the freelancer sends a payment address and the money never reflects. Freelancers deserve the pay that comes with their hard work. And that’s why we’re building Rally- so you can get paid from anywhere in the world, without the payment stress. Have you had any payment issues as a freelancer?. Let's hear from you.
