Two girls at a restaurant, nearby table. Probably in their early 30’s. They barely spoke except for when they were taking pictures of each other on their phones and discussing filters and poses. Food arrived, took pictures of the food. Took pictures of the drinks. Filmed the restaurant. Discussed filters once again. Posted the pictures. Then constantly checked who saw the posts and who ‘liked’ or commented. Barely ate anything - too busy texting nonstop. This isn’t an exaggeration but I really think that throughout the 2.5 hours, neither of them let go of the phone for more than 45 seconds in total. I actually felt sick observing that.
