I testify that Jesus is the Christ. That He lives. That He loves each of us and wants the very best for us in the world and throughout eternity. I have listened to the voice of the Spirit bear record to me of this truth and nothing the world has can diminish this knowledge because it is pure light. I love the Lord Jesus. He is my salvation. He is my advocate with the Father. He is my friend.

I had several antis today trying to insist that this wasn’t happening. Great resource.

In just a few weeks, the Church will open 55 new missions around the world. The gathering of Israel isn’t slowing down, it’s accelerating. It feels like the stone cut out of the mountain is picking up speed.

If the Book of Mormon were as bad as critics claim, the fruit would’ve shown it by now.

The power and abilities these antis give Joseph Smith is incredible to behold. Now he has the ability to brainwash people at will. 🤣
Yeah because he brainwashed every jury member with his radical agenda.

Problem #2: What is "another gospel"? This is where the context matters. Paul tells us exactly what problem he is addressing. The controversy in Galatia was not: Priesthood authority Modern prophets Additional scripture Angels It was whether Gentile converts had to adopt the Law of Moses, especially circumcision, to be saved. Paul's opponents were teaching: Faith in Christ PLUS circumcision and Mosaic law. Paul calls that "another gospel." In other words, Galatians defines "another gospel" very differently than many modern critics do.

Three things I learned Mormons are not allowed to do: 1. Defend themselves from a bloodthirsty mob or else it’s not a murder, it’s a “shootout” 2. Defend their faith online from people repeating blatant lies that require a single query to Grok to refute 3. Use “poise” as a measure of analyzing a debate or our fruits are “no longer good” Got it

“Michele Bermuvez, co-owner of Atlanta's Brewhouse Café, told Food & Wine that it's ‘really important for us to take care of our staff.’” No it’s not important to you. If it was, you’d pay them instead of expecting me to subsidize your payroll. foxnews.com/food-drink/custo…

“Why do we need such resilient faith? Because difficult days are ahead. Rarely in the future will it be easy or popular to be a faithful Latter-day Saint. Each of us will be tested." “You will have days when you will be discouraged. So pray for courage not to give up! Sadly, some whom you thought were your friends will betray you. And some things will simply seem unfair. However, I promise you that as you follow Jesus Christ, you will find sustained peace and true joy.” -President Russell M. Nelson

It's funny, being on this app: I'm constantly learning what I "actually believe" from people who have never been to the same church I have, sat through 4 decades of Sunday School, digested hundreds of sessions of Conference, served a mission, or even read the standard works. And yet here, I can get a new take on my religion every day. Lmbo. Simply astounding.

Excellent point.
Okay, so here's the thing. If you're going to say that LDS worships a different Jesus, then you're going to have to explain how there were two Jesus' born in Bethlehem, ministered with the same exact words, were both crucified and died, were both raised from the dead. That, or you have to admit, that we have a different understanding of the same person.

"All who live or ever have lived, who come unto Christ and live His gospel, will feel joy beyond any earthly expression as we reunite, resurrected, with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ, our parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and ancestors." -Ronald A. Rasband

If I could talk to my younger self, I’d tell him that being present isn’t something you squeeze in around business trips and church meetings. Your kids need to see you show up, even when life feels packed and you think you’ll catch the next game or the next recital. Make time every day, every week, and protect it like it matters, because it does. It matters. Tell your kids they come before anything else with your actions. Use words if necessary. And it’s not just when they are little. Be there for them, even as adults. Oh yeah. Your mother will forget your birthday a few too many times as an adult. It hurts. Call her anyways. Your kids need to see how you handle this.

Reason#165 that the trinity is false. You have to be able to understand God’s nature in order to understand what you are worshipping. You can’t worship a God you can’t understand -that’s not devotion, that’s guesswork.

Should we tell him where they are? HINT: ChurchofJesusChrist.org

It’s amazing how much of Mormon apologetics consists in hiding their core beliefs from the public.

Were not saying you don't believe in Jesus Christ. That being said you do pray to a divine mother and worship Joseph Smith who was a PEDO, murder, rapist & thief. your church is more of a business than it is a religion......

Go read the Gospels and then tell me honestly how you think Jesus would react to all of the people trying to gate-keep who is truly Christian.
