Everyone knows that having a Twitter/X profile is crucial to recruiting.
And that you need a good profile picture, bio, and pinned tweet.
But a common issue I see is that the bio is setup incorrectly...
Here's how to make your Twitter/X bio your #1 asset:
I've looked at 100s (maybe 1000s) of recruits Twitter profiles.
And 90% of the time there's something in there that makes me go "that's not a good look"
The other 10% of the time the structure is off.
First let's talk about the 90%.
You need to put all of your necessary information:
• Height
• Weight
• Position
• Grad Year
• High School (State)
Anything after that is up to you.
And what you should be including is anything that makes you stand out.
Not stuff that looks decent.
So if you have a great 40 time or strength numbers put it there.
Now you should have all the relevant information plus the things that make you stand out.
You need to structure it the right way.
You want to order your attributes (height, weight, 40 time) from best to worst.
So if you're 6'5" 225lbs then that should be first in your bio.
If you have 4.4 40 time then that should be first.
Then last is usually going to be your high school or other boring information.
Why?
Because you want the first thing a coach reads to be the most interest-piquing thing about you.
Otherwise you might lose the coach's interest.
So be sure to:
1. Include all the necessary information
2. Only include your best information
3. Order it from best to last
