Back-back @Nationals baseball this week for the 2nd place team in the N.L. East against the last place Marlins.

Front row seat to Blake winning multiple championships and almost always making deep playoff runs at every level he managed. Every single team had the same characteristics, even though the rosters were always new. Attentional to detail. Character. Fundamentals. Came to play every day. Still remember the call we received from an opposing GM. Blake’s club had just kicked their butts, and he went onto the bus and had the whole team go back into the visitor’s dugout because they left trash there and he was watching interns pick it up. Didn’t let them back on the bus until it was sparkling. I’m 1000% biased, but there aren’t many managers I’ve seen have two dozen guys on every team he’s ever skippered want to run through a wall for him.
