We had a great time flying birds at the Althorp book festival, Charles Spencer even popped by and said many of his guests were saying nice things about the birds.

I turned up to school today to give two nocturnal animal talks, waiting for me on the wall outside was this beautiful privet hawk moth! One of our largest moth species. She came in to be the star of my show before releasing her back outside. Brilliant,

My talks often see me introducing kids to animals from all over the world, but my passion is to get them to notice the wonderful world of nature all around them here in The UK, this blue butterfly is surely as good as any in the world!
