It truly is amazing how the (d)evil has blinded people. Many people believe Romans did not even talk or record about Jesus and big wonders(supernatural miracles).
But they are wrong. The history has much to tell us:
-Rome historian Tacitus:
Annals 15.44
“Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome…”
He also recorded and registered signs, wonders and supernatural events during the siege and destruction of the 2nd temple of Jerusalem:
-Histories 5.13:
“Prodigies had occurred, which this nation, prone to superstition, yet hating all religious rites, did not deem it lawful to expiate by sacrifice or vows.
There had been seen hosts joining battle in the skies, the fiery gleam of arms;
the temple illuminated by a sudden radiance from the clouds;
the doors of the inner shrine suddenly thrown open,
and a voice of more than mortal tone was heard to cry that the gods were departing.
At the same instant there was a mighty stir as of departure.”
All by a person that hated jews and its culture as well as christians.
Also Josephus as well talks about Jesus and the destructtion of the second temple AND he records pretty much the same thing as Tacitus.
Lets see what Flavio Josephus says (Jew historian, not christian and his public was Rome, he wrote for them):
-"On the eighth day of the month Xanthicus, and at the ninth hour of the night, so great a light shone round the altar and the holy house, that it appeared to be bright day-time; which light lasted for half an hour.”
-"At the same festival also, the eastern gate of the inner court of the temple, which was of brass, and vastly heavy, and had been with difficulty shut by twenty men, and rested upon a basis armed with iron…
was seen to be opened of its own accord about the sixth hour of the night.”
-“Besides these, a few days after that feast, on the one-and-twentieth day of the month Artemisius,
a certain prodigious and incredible phenomenon appeared:
I suppose the account of it would seem to be a fable, were it not related by those that saw it…
for before sun-setting, chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were seen running about among the clouds, and surrounding of cities.”
-"Moreover, at that feast which we call Pentecost…
as the priests were going by night into the inner court of the temple…
they said that, in the first place, they felt a quaking, and heard a great noise,
and after that they heard a sound as of a great multitude, saying, ‘Let us remove hence.’”
-"A certain Jesus, the son of Ananus…
began on a sudden to cry aloud,
‘A voice from the east, a voice from the west… a voice against Jerusalem and the holy house…’”
“He continued this cry… for seven years and five months…
until the very time that he saw his presage in earnest fulfilled…
and as he was going round upon the wall, he cried out…
‘Woe, woe to myself also!’
and immediately there came a stone… and killed him.”
-A star resembling a sword stood over the city, and a comet, that continued a whole year.”
And there are way more documents like this.
The TRUTH which is CHRIST is out there. You only have to look for it, and you will find it!
Woe to those who hate the Truth. As the Truth has descended and died for us because of Love.
May the Truth be blessed for the eternity and may You be with the Truth, which is our Lord JesusChrist.
