The H-1B visa program was originally intended to bring in foreign workers only when Americans aren’t available. Instead, corporations have exploited it to replace American workers with cheaper foreign labor.
I’m urging the Department of Labor to raise the wage floors that make this abuse profitable. When the financial incentive disappears, so does the scheme.

This sentence removes another predator from our streets and sends the message that we will not waver in prosecuting those who abuse and exploit children. The Ninth Circuit, including two Democrat-appointed judges, threw the case out. Idaho joined a coalition who intervened to defend American energy, and we won.

My Medicaid Fraud Control Unit just arrested Joseph Hakizimana and Hussein Hamad for Provider Fraud in Ada County. Medicaid fraud deprives Idaho taxpayers of their hard-earned money and causes significant harm to individuals who genuinely rely on this program.
My thanks to our law enforcement partners for their assistance in these arrests.
