I wanna do experiments with Multiplayer networking, so what better way to start with the classic Pong.
the goal is to have people connected seamlessly, play against AI while waiting for matchmaking once a match is found, they would just take control seamlessly.
so this will be a small training project, but I will implement Matchmaking, AI, some NAT Punching and I already have a few ideas to compensate on latency.
visual will probably get better in the future.
I was working with Epic online service P2P and they don't have a reliable message option at the time.
so I implemented a reliability layer only to find out a day later they updated their SDK.
