Aside from carb/fuel issues having 2 fake NGK plugs won't help. 2 & 3 are genuine as they've been passivated and are 3 grams heavier than 1 & 4 due to the greater copper and precious metal content.

Dealerships in the UK used to carry stock of most parts. Now they don't carry even fairly frequently replaced components, so it's often more efficient to order direct from Japan.

Every single person who still cringes at the memory of trying to bullshit their way through an interview or exam question: today, the slate is wiped clean. Set down your burden of shame. Nothing - nothing, I say - could touch this.

Having just got home I can report that 'they' are out in force. What is it about a sunny day that brings out driving license holders with the cognitive abilities of a stale egg custard? I'd be fully behind a compulsory retest every 5 years.

The first pic is a flywheel & damper puller made of cast cheese in China that was the right layout but not up to the job. Pic 2 is the replacement made this week from EN24 in Redditch. πŸ‘

When you're riveting a hollow pin master link it should end up looking like the first pic. The second pic shows that it's mushroomed to spec (5.6 to 5.8mm). The third pic is the appearance when a hammer and punch is used, it should not look like that. 🫀

Oxford's traffic filters go live August 2026. Riders pass through free β€” no permit, no charge. That's not the default. That's what lobbying delivers. #OxfordTrafficFilters #MotorcyclesExempt #MAGUK

Cleaning the take off bungs is a PITA, but the Devil (and the vac leaks) are in the detail.

Sourcing inlet stubs is almost as much of a PITA these days as fitting them with new clips and vac take offs. Without them though trying to balance carbs is King Canute territory.
