We have found observational evidence that dark matter is “heated up” at the centres of dwarf galaxies: arxiv.org/abs/1808.06634v1 This solves the long-standing “cusp-core” problem in LCDM, and suggests that dark matter is a cold, collisionless, fluid. [A thread]

Paper day! @IzzyGrayAstro proposes a new model for NSC formation in tiny dwarfs. Prediction: NSCs should have CMDs with >2, distinct, MS turnoffs. Some nearby CGs like OCen and M54 show exactly this behaviour, suggesting they could be accreted NSCs! arxiv.org/abs/2405.19286

I am happy to announce my first paper is on the arXiv today! We present a new model for nuclear star cluster formation within dwarf galaxies using high-resolution cosmological simulations, including observational properties and links to globular clusters: arxiv.org/abs/2405.19286

Last week I got to visit @DarkerMatters to give a FLAT talk, on my work with EDGE simulations and how we naturally form globular clusters within them! Everyone was so very welcoming! Thank you all for everything and I hope to see you all again soon!

On my way to @OxUniMaths to deliver the Roger Penrose Lecture. I feel very honoured to be invited to give only third one in the series - after Stephen Hawking (2017) and @carlorovelli (2020). I believe it will be available online in three weeks time.
