I'm watching MONSIEUR SPADE's first episode and certain it's been going for over an hour. But...only 30 minutes have passed. I've never seen a show where every scene is languid yet the plot moves so fast.

I love it when a man has zero interest in being virtuous, but he'd rather die than not do a thing.

Men would rather draw a cartoon presenting themselves as a zombie attack than work on themselves.

Here's a convenient link to info about the New Mexico anti book banning meeting at the end of January. Remote participation is likely to be available. newmexicansagainstbookbans.o…

Screw it, I’m going to write the MG novel about a kid who steals dogs from abusive owners. And the message will be it’s ok to do illegal things when what’s legal isn’t the same as what’s moral

Mostly on the sky site now. X is in the extra Socials subfolder so I have to click an extra time to get to it, like Facebook.

There's little difference between what this teacher did and what every anti-trans politician is doing. We ought to be calling for them all to be fired.
BREAKING: A public school teacher lost her job after refusing to let first graders use the restroom. Multiple kids peed themselves after the teacher revoked the entire class's right to use the restroom. The teacher messaged parents blaming the victims. Buckle up👇🧵

Grateful to authors who list their pronouns and race/ethnicity/nationality on their website. My usage is making lists with intentional diversity of author demographics. I don't list this info in resulting lists, but it helps get there.

I suggested to library colleagues that we no longer need to respect copyright in other areas now that admin brought people in to tell us it's okay to use GenAI.

A stat I'd like to know is whether PETA has done more to make us feel disgusted about eating animals OR has done more to make us not feel so disgusted about eating people.

Just found out that my childhood Mennonite church (run BY my family) left their conference a few years ago because of their own anti-queer bigotry and have since rebranded as non-Mennonite altogether. This makes Mennonites cooler in my view.

What if YA was stereotyped as men's fiction about dystopias where men are treated like women?

Just dreamed that Jimmy Carter stopped by my yard to wash his hands with the garden hose, then left holding hands with Rosalynn. Had to check the news feed to see if he passed.

Dreamed that the USA Today's top front page headline listed my real name and was about how I had made a comment on Reddit about white Christian evangelicals that didn't take into account liberal Buddhists.

Finished the SPIDER-MAN 2 game then checked out the Reddit discussion. Apparently gamer bros hated MJ's face so much they harassed the actress out of the business. Lots of comments about how the "wokes" are forcing ugly women into their games. MJ looks like THIS...like, what?!

A lot of men need to have their screen time taken away.
