We saw historical treasures such as the Magna Carta, a passport from Thomas Molyneux & original maps showing the Liverpool to Manchester railway. We explored the magnificent library.

Yesterday, some Year 6's went to debating at The Athenaeum in Liverpool City Centre.
Not only did the enjoy the debates, they enjoyed several interesting artefacts and loved the building itself!

Today is World Children's Day and we're celebrating by holding two different events for children where they get the chance to discuss and debate issues that matter to them. We're holding an online debate as well as a face to face event at the Athenaeum.

‘Reclaiming narratives’ is the theme for this year’s #BlackHistoryMonth. The theme focusses on sharing stories of Black history and culture. These titles represent a diverse range of talented black authors and illustrators creating empathy-rich stories and memorable characters.
