Was MVP for WA in the state 18s but overlooked in the draft.
Headed off to Tazzie to play in the VFL to find another pathway and got picked up in the MSD.
Makes his debut for Essendon VFL with an AFL debut just around the corner.

Luker Kentfield has been through a fair bit to make his Demons debut as a 194cm marking forward. A 2024 mid-season draftee. Then suffered aseptic meningitis in early 2025 which resulted in an infection in the lining of the brain. Bounced back then while wearing a mask to protect a fractured eye socket he suffered a knee injury in the first practice game this year v Richmond. 30 goals in eight VFL games this year
