In 2012, State Representative Dan Muhlbauer called for State of Iowa to ban and confiscate semi-autos. All of them. His son, Dave Muhlbauer, has been selected as @RobSandIA's running mate. Here's his quote:
"We cannot have big guns out here as far as the big guns that are out here, the semi-automatics and all of them. We can't have those running around out here. Those are not hunting weapons. We should ban those in Iowa. Even if you have them, I think we need to start taking them..."

Margaret was a mother of 3, grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 4.
According to CCTV footage reviewed by police, John Elijah Matthews, a homeless Black man, walked up to the Margaret and slit her throat within seconds.
Margaret screamed and tried to escape, but the suspect held her down and st*bbed her another 18 times before leaving her dead on the ground in a large pool of her own blood.
Fellow passengers on the train did nothing to try and help her as she screamed.
Absolutely horrifying.

Hereās a real-world system failure straight from CBP officers who lived it and then relayed to me as having happened today:
Theyāre running surveillance on a Colombian crew tied to a wave of residential burglaries in Los Angeles. Four officers, full day on the house.
They watch the suspectās three kids walk out. Then two other women roll up with four more kids and go inside. While theyāre sitting there doing āprecisionā work, eight other illegals just stroll right past their position like itās a parade.
End of shift?
One guy in custody.
The other 17? Still here!
Four trained officers.
Hours of surveillance.
One arrest.
Thatās what ātargeted enforcementā actually looks like on the ground.
Itās not strategy ā itās a jobs program for bureaucrats who want to look busy while the border starts to deteriorate and American families keep getting robbed.
You want results? You create fear. Mass operations. Roving patrols. Zero mixed signals.
Anything less is just expensive theater that tells every illegal in the country: āRelax, theyāre only coming for the ābad onesāā¦ eventually.ā

Four big name Senate incumbents down hard!
Liz Brown was the one who got away.....by 20 votes. That race is headed to a recount. Brown only got close because Governor Braun stupidly endorsed her.
Plus some open seat race victories, plus some house side wins. It was a great night all around!

For all the activists watching this, there is a way to be successful at fighting for babies, gun rights, property rights, immigration policy and more at the state level.
But it's a lot more work than it is events. It's more about planning and execution than endless rallies where there is more hair gel being applied by the speakers than pain to the politicians.
