I bought a Kindle Touch from eBay at the beginning of the year, right before Amazon announced they were ending support, and I have to say that I understand why they ended support. It's a crazy solid device that does its job perfectly well more than a decade later. Why would anyone even bother to buy a replacement? Wish more people made things like this nowadays.

I had one thought that suddenly made me that much more skeptical of the OOT Remake: Jabu Jabu's belly. Of all the things that are so specifically N64 about the original, that's one dungeon I have a lot of trouble envisioning in a more modern style.

I think the entire reason the revealed OOT as a teaser instead of a full gameplay reveal is exactly what we're getting now: people wildly speculating about what little information we have.

Interesting things from Xenoblade Genesis 1) At first I thought that fantasy firearms were entirely absent, but one of the background characters appears to have something like a flintlock rifle over his shoulder. 2) Geographical features echo Gaur Plains again. 3) Some people see the curved world and think an artificial ringworld colony. I see it and think Hollow Earth. Sneak Terranigma sequel? 4) It already looks awesome, and MonolithSoft has a history of improving visuals between initial trailer and launch. This should be a visual treat. 5) Rideable creatures! 6) No nopon? But there are evidently intelligent fuzzy critters to play. I think this might be "another side another story" again, but the end of 3 and its DLC makes me think that this is the "Genesis" of the reunited world. IYKYK.

Direct was good, but more games that will be good for the system rather than ones that will be good for me. The ones that interest me in order of interest. 1) Xenoblade Genesis 2) OOT Remake 3) Duskbloods 4) Star Fox Maybe one or two more I can't think of off the top of my head. Genesis is a day 1 purchase, though.
