This is an AT&T Long Lines microwave relay tower, built from the 1950s onward for long-distance phone and TV signal transmission across the US. The horn antennas beamed microwave signals to the next tower in a nationwide network, before fiber optics replaced it. Often painted red-white for aviation safety and Cold War-hardened.
