The appeal is laughable at best. He killed somebody who was unarmed in front of a dozen witnesses.
It's worth noting appeal is not retrying the case. Appeal is for was the case constitutional, was the law followed, was the jury tainted, etc. It is not I don't like the verdict.

I'm glad he wasn't acquitted but 35 years possibly out in 17 isn't a win. Austin can't get his life back. Karmelo gets his back in 17 possibly 35.

I would hope Karmelo gets a harsh sentence. But I honestly lost trust in the legal system a while ago.
30x felons released back into society after charges get dropped or dropped to near nothing.
Meanwhile Chauvin gets a life sentence on the most shaky case ever.
