What we know so far:
At LaGuardia Airport in Queens, an Air Canada Express jet en route to Montreal collided with a fire truck on the runway. The cockpit of the aircraft has sustained significant damage.
Officials have confirmed at least two fatalities, with approximately 70 people injured. Among those injured, at least four firefighters are reported to be in critical condition.
