Little brother woke up last night vomiting (too much good stuff at the drive-in), & we made a bed on the floor till morning when we could clean. Woke up this morning to big brother cuddling him. My children love each other, & that’s about half of all I need in my life. 😊

Politics operates like a pendulum. When one side clings to power too long or tries to lock it down permanently, the inevitable correction is rarely gentle or proportional , it overswings hard in the opposite direction. The middle is one of the biggest accelerators of these violent swings. Their inaction and reluctance to push back allows the pendulum to stick on one side, building dangerous tension until the overcorrection becomes inevitable and brutal. A true pendulum cannot rest forever in the fragile center. It must swing freely — right through the middle, to the left, and back again. Attempts to freeze it in place only guarantee a harder, more destructive release.
