y'all be out here taking peoples presence for granted.. like their absence won't hit heavy. they wont always take you back, as a friend or partner.. stop letting society trick you into thinking everybody's energy is replaceable.. it's some ppl whose vibe is so rare you only get blessed w/ that once in a lifetime.. and your gonna miss out

Hard Pill to swallow as an adult: At some point, you will have to disappoint others to live a life that's honest to you. People pleasing will drain you, not save you. You have every right to set boundaries and choose your peace. You can disappoint people and still be a good person.

After 28 years of age as a man, I’ve finally come to realize that the only cure for depression is just leaving the house at every single possible opportunity, no matter how badly you don’t want to.

you must create because the thing you’d make doesn’t exist anywhere else. nobody has your exact combination of experiences and wounds and obsessions, which means the work only you could make is genuinely irreplaceable. if you don’t make it, it simply never exists. the world just goes without it, never knowing what it missed. that’s the most exciting thing about being you. the thing is waiting and you’re the only door it has.

pick a degree you don’t want to cheat. choose a city you don't want to flee. work a job you don’t want to quit. marry a person you don’t want to change. live a life you don’t want to escape.

I keep a rolling Notes doc called "Good things are always happening to me" and update it whenever I realize a good thing totally just happened to me. Good things are always happening to us.

i regret to inform you that personal growth rarely comes from acquiring new knowledge and almost always from: •getting humiliated •showing up terrified and doing it anyway •admitting you might be the problem

Take my word for it, if you stay consistent on a path that you are really good at and has clearly shown you some results, you will “always” win big in the end, what will likely throw you off is how long you need to wait.

Go outside, travel more, go to new cates, museums, events, take a new route home, go for hikes, see cities, countrysides, take your notebook, speak to people, ask questions, start businesses - go on more side quests. You can literally just do things, and the more you do, the more serendipity and synchronicity will find you.
