I don’t think people would be doing pack glitches or paying for bots to grind mini seasons for them if mlb the show at it’s core didn’t change so drastically
Imo they pivoted to forcing you to play offline modes in the hopes that you get exhausted and just start buying stuff

These actions are intended to help maintain a fair and balanced experience for all players and prevent similar violations in the future.
We're also working on a fix that will restore the WBC Mini Season’s rewards that were temporarily adjusted to mitigate this exploit.
We expect to share more information in the near future.
