Unpopular opinion: I’d sell Ruben Dias for €60m.
🚨 BREAKING: Real Madrid are interested in RUBEN DIAS! José Mourinho likes him, and he has DIRECTLY SPOKEN to him! @benfeerr

Ayyoub Bouaddi is Rodri’s long term successor. That’s a high enough praise in itself. At only 18, City should do EVERYTHING in their power to facilitate a move. A €70m fee? Bargain. Anderson Bouaddi would dictate our midfield for the next decade or so.

Believe me, Elliot Anderson & Rodri will form one of the greatest pivots Premier League has EVER seen. While Rodri will be tasked to shield & protect the CBs, Anderson will have permission to roam. This plays to each of their strengths. A new era is about to begin.

Don’t care about the price anymore, everything considered we’re talking about a 23-year-old elite midfielder with a unique profile. He’s got 10 years left on a top level. He suits us perfectly and will form a solid duo with Rodri. Bring.

Also don’t forget: Chelsea paid £110m for Enzo Fernandez and £115m for Caicedo. Liverpool paid £115m for Florian Wirtz. Arsenal paid £105m for Declan Rice. Manchester United paid £90m for Pogba. West Ham want £80m for Matheus Fernandes. This is the market.

For £125m, I’d advice City to pull the plug on the entire operation. At least for now. Evaluate other targets in detail. City must remain calm and not rush into a deal before all alternatives have been evaluated thoroughly.

Thoughts on the Elliot Anderson situation?
🚨 Manchester City verbal proposal to Nottingham Forest for Elliot Anderson was worth £106m add-ons, taking it above £120m. #NFFC want British record fee guaranteed, not after bonuses. No fresh talks with #MCFC over 23yo England midfielder @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7335332…

Vitor Reis, Mukasa and McAidoo are fully expected to stick around the first team this season. Especially Reis & Mukasa will play a fair amount of games. Claudio Echeverri & Sverre Nypan will 100% leave on loan. No question about it, it’s all about finding suitable clubs.

Things I can’t stand with City Twitter that pop up every now and then: 1) ”Selling Julian Alvarez was a mistake.” - He asked City to leave and we honoured his wish after he helped us win The Treble. Mutual respect, no ”mistake”. 2) ”Marc Guehi is on £300k-a-week and he ruined our wage structure”. - This is categorically FALSE. He’s on ”significantly less than £300k” as reported by very reliable @Jack_Gaughan. 3) ”Selling Cole Palmer was a mistake." - Just because he’s done well at Chelsea doesn’t mean he’d replicate that at City. Different styles, different team, different structure, different club. It’s not FIFA guys. 4) ”Signing Donnarumma was a mistake.” - He has the highest ‘prevented goals’ stats in the Premier League. He played a crucial part in stabilizing our defense and brought us back into the title race. Show some respect. 5) James Trafford & Donnarumma fan boys in general. - They desperately try to discredit each other instead of uniting behind what matters: Manchester City FC. They are both our players. Show some respect. 6) Ait Nouri has been ”shit”. - Just because O’Reilly is better and the preferred option, it doesn’t make Ait Nouri a bad signing. In fact, he’s been really good whenever he’s playing. Anything else I’m forgetting?
