Things I can’t stand with City Twitter that pop up every now and then:
1) ”Selling Julian Alvarez was a mistake.”
- He asked City to leave and we honoured his wish after he helped us win The Treble. Mutual respect, no ”mistake”.
2) ”Marc Guehi is on £300k-a-week and he ruined our wage structure”.
- This is categorically FALSE. He’s on ”significantly less than £300k” as reported by very reliable
@Jack_Gaughan.
3) ”Selling Cole Palmer was a mistake."
- Just because he’s done well at Chelsea doesn’t mean he’d replicate that at City. Different styles, different team, different structure, different club. It’s not FIFA guys.
4) ”Signing Donnarumma was a mistake.”
- He has the highest ‘prevented goals’ stats in the Premier League. He played a crucial part in stabilizing our defense and brought us back into the title race. Show some respect.
5) James Trafford & Donnarumma fan boys in general.
- They desperately try to discredit each other instead of uniting behind what matters: Manchester City FC. They are both our players. Show some respect.
6) Ait Nouri has been ”shit”.
- Just because O’Reilly is better and the preferred option, it doesn’t make Ait Nouri a bad signing. In fact, he’s been really good whenever he’s playing.
Anything else I’m forgetting?
