Mr. Murray was a valuable teacher in my basketball education. His strong voice always had my attention. He would always make sure to look after me on travel trips when my dad couldn't make it cos of work. Just a good man. And im sure a major baller!!
Pops could definitely play. If you were lucky enough to be at the runs at Irwindale Rec back in the day, the Murray brothers and pops held court. You were just hopeful that you could be the 2 and part of the squad so you didnβt have to sit after you took the L.
I donβt get into who was better. He did a lot of things better than I did, he just didnβt have my size. If he was my size, he wouldβve cooked me. Iβm just sayingβ¦

This one is sad. His career and life cut short by a ATV accident donβt describe who this big guy with a big heart was we will miss him. Pray for his family
