We are in the middle of the battle to pass the SAVE America Act. This is simple, commonsense legislation that will protect our elections. We need to get it done.

I authored the TAKE IT DOWN Act for this exact reason—to prosecute sick individuals who seek to humiliate and abuse others by weaponizing intimate images, including sexually explicit AI-generated deepfakes. These are not victimless crimes. And now, these two criminals will rightly face serious charges.

I am deeply concerned about what we are hearing about an Iran “deal,” being pushed by some voices in the administration. President Trump’s decision to strike Iran was the most consequential decision of his second term. He was right to do so, and we achieved extraordinary military results—including destroying all of their missiles & drones and sinking their entire navy. If the result of all that is to be an Iranian regime—still run by Islamists who chant “death to America”—now receiving billions of dollars, being able to enrich uranium & develop nuclear weapons, and having effective control over the Strait of Hormuz, then that outcome would be a disastrous mistake. The details are still coming out—and I pray the early reports are wrong—but the fact that Biden’s Rob Malley is praising the deal is not encouraging. President Trump believes in peace through strength, and his strong leadership has already made America much safer. He should continue to hold the line, defend America & enforce the red lines he has repeatedly drawn.

A few words toward the wiser.

Please justify this: try to convince America that the Louisiana Congressional district that was the subject of the Supreme Court ruling was not the worst form of racial gerrymandering. And explain how reverting to natural boundaries such as County & Parish lines suppresses votes.

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach. The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
