Legally, it's even a non-starter. You can't just tear up the legal rights, secure tenancies, & human rights protections of ILR & Settled Status holders who have probably been rooted in their communities for 20 years paying taxes & fees.
The courts would spend a decade ripping the policy to shreds. The councils will go bankrupt due to court fees.
But that's the point.
It's not meant to be viable.
