Inspired by a conversation I overheard in the staff room on 'static shocks', I brought the issue to the Y5 classes at @ThinkSchoolHK for them to solve. I have now received four emails with reasons & solutions, and the students are calling themselves 'energy detectives'! #science

I covered a Y5 class today and was able to implement a strategy from ‘Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics’. A fantastic open ended question allowing for different approaches from the students! @pgliljedahl #math #inquiryapproach @ThinkSchoolHK
