X is more important to freedom and the world then people really understand. It’s not just a newsfeed and information source that spreads knowledge. Or when combined with Starlink, any corner anytime. That’s all impressive …but only makes it sound like a modern CNN or something. X is a pursuit of truth tool. It’s actually Gutenberg level…due to exponential network effect information sharing. It’s Metcalfe’s Law come to life but for knowledge. And each person is a node that can communicate with others and it is two way. This dynamic allows for the truth to come out cause of this unique interaction. Each node makes the network of knowledge so powerful for transmitting the truth, nothing can compete with it due to the math and effects of it. And it refines the knowledge to ensure truth is shared. It’s why legacy media and leaders want to stop it. It stops all false narratives.

The ratings for the Spanish broadcast of the World Cup are going to be thru the roof compared to the English broadcast on Fox. Why? Cause everyone is too cheap to pay for Fox Streaming and already has Peacock for free via other memberships. And because the tone and volume of the announcers increase when something exciting happens, so perfect to have on in the background, and you look up for scoring chances.

Finally 250th USA starting to appear. The Gen X kid in me always got excited over the normal CPG summer promos and radio and amusement park tie ins and movies stuff that you saw trickling in at the start of June. It meant school was over and summer was here.

The plain unfrosted cake donut is the best donut. From the 3am places that still make them from scratch, they are legit culinary greatness It is the Har Gow of dim sum or the French omelette to test the skill of the shop.

It has dawned on me that a reason for our current state, is we have a segment of youth that has never had the following in their hands or used them… A shovel, a frying pan, a rifle, a baby, a wrench, a clipboard, a hammer, dirt, a steering wheel, etc. In others words they have not experienced real life. And the randomness and interactions of living. They have had placement into private schools or expensive suburban schools , AP classes, SAT tests, upper class colleges with their first taste of disappointment not getting into their first choice, easy university grades, etc. Extended artificial adolescence. So to them everything was just jump through a hoop and be praised and then the next hoop. And then you become landed gentry with a peerage. But life doesn’t work like that. They are now bitter and self righteousness cause they were trained to take tests and get a placement in the court of the noble classes…and they didn’t get it. They see people with second homes their age and nice cars and job titles they felt entitled to. Now they are becoming the martyrs and true believers of the resentful…doing the bidding of the elite they wanted to be. So we either get back to teaching our youth truth and sacrifice and what real life is…or we will keep supplying the useful idiots that turn into martyrs for the cause.

One of the things we did to teach our kids honor and conscientiousness is when walking in a parking lot… pay attention. Not so much for being hit by a car, but always scanning and looking, head on a swivel. But also the ground. See that screw or nail not in your path but off to the side, it might even be a small detour. You pick it up and dispose of it. It wasn’t going to affect you at all. But it could cause a major problem for somebody. No money for a new tire, late for work or to grab a kid, old person stranded, someone who has never changed a tire on the side of the road in danger. You now have the honor of preventing a problem. This is what a high trust society is.

Parents teach your children and especially young men to make eye contact with people when passing, with the small head nod and/good-morning, etc. I know awareness of self and others is on the decline, but conscientiousness is a trait that is more important then IQ…this helps develop it. Doesn’t matter if it is the Walmart greeter or country club locker room. Or a crosswalk and somebody letting you pass in front. Or holding the door for a person with takeaway food. It shows awareness of surroundings and a confidence, and acknowledges the other person, and sets a proper tone. And it is also the secret guy code of letting others know, if stuff goes sideways…you are part of “Team run to danger and help”.
