Before Sir Edwin Lutyens' Arch of Remembrance on Victoria Park was unveiled in 1925, there was a temporary WWI memorial in #Leicester's Town Hall Square.

As the Thomas Cook collection is not yet fully catalogued, we advise researchers to contact us in advance of visiting. Requests for items may take longer to retrieve than usual & responses to remote enquiries may be delayed as we'll need longer to locate items in the collection.
